Discover Wingfoil, the new sport that is much easier than windsurfing or kitesurfing. Forget about masts or lines, it's just you and your kite. When practicing wing foil , you will feel the force of the wind directly in your hands.This new sport is practiced with a hydrofoil board, which has a large volume and is perfect for learning quickly and safely. You'll learn much faster than with windsurfing or kitesurfing, so that in just a few hours you'll be able to handle the kite and maneuver your board wherever you want. 

Galicia has some fantastic spots for wing foiling. Whether you prefer calm bays or beaches with incredible waves for surfing, don't hesitate—here you can learn to sail in this easy and safe discipline.

We usually hold our classes in Santa Cristina Bay, 15 minutes from the center of A Coruña. This location is ideal because it is very safe, with calm waters and no obstacles. We often use our zodiac boat to accompany students and give them instructions up close.

Advantages of learning Wing Foil

  • You don't need space on the beach to set up and stretch lines or take off.
  • You can go wingsurfing at any beach, even paddling through the marked channels.
  • It doesn't matter where you enter the water; it can be a windy spot, with onshore winds or rocks. You can paddle out like on a surfboard and start sailing where the wind picks up.
  • You can sail at just 7 knots to wherever you want (with different kite sizes).
  • It is a very safe modality. Takeoff on the foil is smooth and gradual.
  • It is used to surf the waves by unfolding the wing.
  • It's very easy to practice wingfoiling.
  • A big advantage of wingfoiling is that you don't need strong winds to do it, so on those days when kiters and windsurfers are bored on the sand, you can go out and enjoy yourself.
  • What's more, you don't need any specific training; it's a very calm and safe sport that can be practiced by people of any age and physical condition.
