Paddle Surf Tours

Join us on our paddle surfing trips through the incredible landscapes of the A Coruña and Santa Cristina area. We take our boards away from our usual beach environment and can choose rivers, waterfalls, or bridges. You may already know these places, but you will have the opportunity to visit them from a different perspective. You will be surprised.

You can sign up on your own or bring friends along. Our routes are published in our events section and on our social media pages. If you would like us to add you to our WhatsApp group so you can stay up to date with all our outings, just get in touch.

We organize outings throughout the year.

We also organize tailor-made tours for groups, such as birthday celebrations, corporate events, and bachelor/bachelorette parties. Tell us your idea and we will prepare a customized quote for you.

Santa Cruz Castle Crossing

Departure from our facilities on Santa Cristina beach in Oleiros. This is a round trip enjoying the views of the Ria de A Coruña and a special view from the water of the fantastic Santa Cruz castle. This castle was built in the 16th century as part of the defensive system of the Ría de A Coruña. It is an extraordinary place full of magic and history. There is a short stop at the Port of Santa Cruz to rest for a while before returning to Santa Cristina.

Distance: 5.5 km

Estimated time: 2 hours 30 minutes, including the stop

Puente del Temple Crossing

We use our facilities on Santa Cristina beach as our starting point. This is a round trip where you can enjoy views of the Ria del Burgo and the surf cove behind Santa Cristina. The aim, as well as enjoying this beautiful estuary, is to take a look, always from the water, at the Templar bridge of Burgo. Built in the 14th century, although some historians claim that it was originally a Roman bridge, it consists of 6 semicircular arches and is about 125 meters long. We stop for a break when we reach the bridge.

Distance: 9.5 km

Difficulty: Basic level. More demanding in terms of physical fitness than paddle surfing technique, as the water is completely flat.

Estimated time: 3 hours

€30 per person

Fragas do Eume Crossing

Departure from the Fragas Do Eume Interpretation Center and arrival at Puerto de Redes. The first section of the route passes through one of Galicia's natural treasures, the Fragas do Eume Natural Park, a unique landscape where the dense Atlantic forest meets the sea.

In the second section, we can enjoy the sea views of the Ares and Betanzos estuaries with beautiful beaches such as Cabañas, ending at the incredible port of Redes, where the typical architecture of the Galician Rías Altas reaches the sea itself. This small fishing village of unique beauty has been the setting for films such as Padre Casares and Almodovar's Julieta. Exploring all this by paddle surfboard gives you a different, calm, and seafaring perspective on all these natural settings.

Distance: 7.5 km

Difficulty: Basic level. Ideal for families.

Estimated time: 2 hours 30 minutes

€40 per person

An incredible route through the place where it all began. The maritime and river route along which the disciples of Saint James brought his body from the Holy Land to be buried in Iria Flavia.

Departure from Carril via Illa de Cortegada. On this route, you can visit the beautiful Illa de Cortegada, which is part of the Atlantic Islands National Park. Then, upriver, we will pass by the so-called Cruceiros do Ulla and arrive at the Torres do Oeste in Catoira, from where the Vikings' attacks were defended.

Sil Canyon Route

One of the wonders of rural tourism in Galicia. The Sil Canyons are a deep gorge carved out by the Sil River as it meets the Miño. A unique landscape of calm waters and typical native mountain scenery formed by chestnut, oak, cork oak, and strawberry trees, where time stands still. It is a very pleasant journey through beautiful scenery, calm waters, and pleasant temperatures. This journey is done in two stages, the first from Rabacallos to Barxacoba (at the mouth of the Mao River). We stop to rest, eat something, and hydrate ourselves, and then continue our journey until we reach the Abeleda pier.

It is possible to organize this trip over two days with one night's accommodation.

Distance: 11 km.

Difficulty: low to medium

Estimated time: 3 hours
