These are some of the most popular kitesurfing spots in Vietnam, where you can enjoy ideal conditions and idyllic landscapes to practice your favorite sport.
It is the most famous and popular spot in Vietnam, located in the province of Binh Thuan, in the south of the country. It has a white sand beach about 10 km long, with constant and strong winds, especially between December and March. It is ideal for intermediate and advanced kitesurfers, as there are sometimes waves on the shore. It is usually a fairly busy spot with kitesurfers from different countries. Currently, the kite area has been significantly reduced due to coastal erosion, eliminating large areas of sand, but the west side of the beach still has a large strip of beach.
There are many kitesurfing schools and shops, as well as hotels, restaurants, and bars to suit all tastes and budgets.
Mui Ne has a lot of fun to offer.
Located north of Mui Ne, this spot is less crowded than Mui Ne. The wind is almost entirely onshore and has surfable waves that are perfect for use as ramps for jumping.
This spot is not suitable for beginners due to the large number of rocks in the area.
There is extensive hotel infrastructure right next to the spot.
This is another very popular spot, located in the province of Ninh Thuan, north of Mui Ne. It is a large bay with steady winds, especially between November and March. It is suitable for kitesurfers of all levels, as in addition to a spectacular reef with waves, it has a large flat water lagoon. There is less tourist infrastructure than in Mui Ne, but there are also some schools and accommodations available.
The wind is strong at this spot, often exceeding 30 knots.
