Itinerary

Fortaleza – Taiba – Jericoacoara – Cumbuco – Fortaleza

We will transport you by vehicle from Fortaleza to Jericoacoara, making stops of 2 or 3 days at each of the main spots, so you can get to know and enjoy them. The waves are easy and very fun. We will also visit flat water spots ideal for freestyle lovers and also for our beginner companions.

Downwinds, which are optional, may incur a small cost for the buggy that accompanies us on land, for safety reasons.

Day 8: Arrival at Fortaleza Airport and transfer to Taiba.

Days 8 to 11: Taiba.

Day 11: Transfer from Taiba to Jericoacoara.

Days 11 to 15: Jericoacoara. Downwinds in the area.

Day 15: Jericoacoara – Cumbuco.

Days 15 to 17: Kitesurfing in Cumbuco.

Day 17: Transfer to the airport and return flight.

Day 18: Arrival in Spain.

• Taiba: Lagoa da Barra Inn.
• Jericoacoara: Samba do Kite Inn.
• Cumbuco: Kariri Hotel.

The price includes

• Round-trip flight from Madrid with TAP. Stopover in Lisbon. For other departure points, please inquire.
• The flight includes a 23 kg checked bag and a 10 kg carry-on bag.
• Accommodation in a double room (single room available at an additional cost). Breakfast included.
• Reception and transfers to/from the airport.

The price does not include

• Kitesurfing equipment
• Kitesurfing courses (available at an additional cost)
• Anything not mentioned in the section "the price includes."
• Travel insurance, which is mandatory (available at an additional cost).

Travel recommendations

• Clothing: Lightweight and cool, as we will be spending most of our time on the beach. It is advisable to bring a light windbreaker for the evenings, as the humidity and wind may make it feel a little cool. For warmth, just a light jacket or sweatshirt. It is very important to bring lycra clothing to protect ourselves from the sun.
• Footwear: Forget about shoes, wear flip-flops the entire trip.
• Personal care products: Throughout our trip, we will find stores where we can buy everything we need. However, at some points we may be somewhat far from town, so it is a good idea to bring some basic items with us.
• Kite equipment: We recommend bringing two bars. Although repair services are available along our itinerary, they are not available at all locations. Our guide will carry a basic repair kit. We recommend bringing two kites so as not to exceed the baggage limit, although if you have extra space, you could add a 12 for the Cumbuco area. We always recommend checking the forecast before your trip.
• First aid kit: There are pharmacies at almost every point along our route.
• Sunscreen: It is very important to bring waterproof sunscreen and reapply it frequently. We recommend wearing hats or other head protection. Don't forget sunglasses, both for land and sea, with the appropriate fastenings. Long-sleeved lycra tops and even leg protection are recommended.
• Travel and accident insurance: We recommend taking out sports insurance. If you do not have any, we can provide it for you.

Cancellations

Flights are non-refundable.

For other services:

• Cancellations until August 13: €150 penalty.
• Cancellations after August 14: 100% of costs.

We recommend purchasing cancellation insurance. If the customer does not have insurance, we can offer it starting at €45.
