Mar Esmeralda and Sakalava are spots that stand out for their crystal clear waters and long beaches, where both beginners and experts can enjoy themselves.

You'll surf in a movie-like setting: beneath your board, you'll see turtles and rays swimming in waters so crystal clear they seem to touch the sky. It's pure adrenaline in a pristine, wild environment!

A kite instructor accompanies us throughout the trip to help you and make you feel more confident. This trip is recommended for riders of all levels. If you are just starting out, you are sure to enjoy yourself, and if you are already an expert, you will find the ideal conditions for practicing new tricks and surfing waves.

ITINERARY

May 20: Transfer from Nosy Be to the port. Speedboat to Ankifi and transfer by road. Overnight stay at Kozobe Hotel.

May 21: Transfer from Kozobe to Ramena. Pickup and transfer by boat to Babaomby. Check-in at Les Paillotes hotel with full board. Kitesurfing in the afternoon.

May 22 to 27: Kitesurfing in Mar Esmeralda, downwind to La Piscine. Perfect sport with flat sea directly connected to the waves of the Indian Ocean.

May 28: Transfer to Sakalava. Check in at Madakitecamp hotel, full board. Kitesurfing in Sakalava in the afternoon.

May 29: Kitesurfing in Sakalava.

May 30: Transfer to Nosy Be and overnight stay at a hotel.

May 31: Transfer to airport and return flight.

June 1: Arrival in Madrid at 5:55 a.m.

TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Clothing: It is advisable to bring a windbreaker for the evenings, as the humidity and wind may make you feel a little chilly. For warmth, a jacket or sweatshirt is recommended. It is very important to wear sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
  • Footwear: We recommend wearing water shoes for sailing. Flip-flops and comfortable shoes for our walks.
  • Personal care products: It is advisable to bring your toiletries from Spain, as it will be more difficult to find them during your trip.
  • Kite equipment: We recommend bringing two bars. Although repair services are available along our itinerary, they are not available at all locations. Our guide will carry a basic repair kit. We recommend bringing two kites so as not to exceed the baggage limit. We always recommend checking the forecast before traveling.
  • Wetsuit:A short wetsuit or lycra suit is recommended.
  • First aid kit: It is advisable to carry a basic first aid kit with antiseptic, gauze, painkillers, Fortasec, etc.
  • Sunscreen: It is very important to bring waterproof sunscreen and reapply it frequently. We recommend wearing hats or other head protection. Don't forget sunglasses, both for land and sea, with the appropriate fastenings.
  • Travel and accident insurance: We recommend purchasing sports insurance with cancellation coverage. If you do not have insurance, we can provide it for you.
